When I stumbled on this set I couldn't believe that you could get such a nice set of wheels for close to $200. First of all the wheels are built using 32 solid gauge spokes. The rims are quite beefy (40mm) and have a nice brushed aluminum finish, not the cheap sandblasted look like the rims that came on my Giant Reign SX. The Neuvation hubs, not DT Swiss of course! appear to have a solid build quality as well, much better than early Neuvation products. The bearings roll smooth and the XD ratchet mechanism shows good engagement with low noise. I've been using Neuvation hubs for a few years now and have been quite impressed with their value. Overall these wheels are super nice looking and very beefy. I will set them up tubeless. I think they will rock! view less
